When we talk about 'success', we mean a far deeper, richer and more fulfilling goal than merely earning more money. Don't get me wrong, there's absolutely nothing wrong with financial abundance! It's simply that the happiness and meaning we're goaling for includes so much more.
Our goal is success on the path of personal and spiritual evolution. Whether we like it or not, we're are all on a healing journey back to love, happiness & oneness. There is nothing we can do to change the ultimate happy outcome (thank God) but we human 'doings' sure know how to dawdle!
Typically, we want our lives, our relationships and our prospects to change, but we don't want to change. Big mistake!
