About Us
The Heart of Success came about through the friendship and shared inspiration of its founders: Gayle Timmons and Julia Simpson. They met in 2001 at a Psychology of Vision 10-day seminar in the beautiful resort of Tigh Na Mara on Vancouver Island. A powerfully moving shared process cemented a lasting friendship.
As the 'Heart of Success' team, Julia & Gayle offer coaching, seminars, groups and retreats in Canada and the UK. Distance coaching and tele-seminars are also available.
There are support groups for students of A Course In Miracles and Psychology of Vision and in addition Gayle and Julia offer longer courses introducing people to these life-changing principles.

Julia Simpson is both a business trainer and a teacher of 'A Course in Miracles', running groups and seminars exploring its inspiring brand of 'spiritual psychology.' She is also a graduate of the Psychology of Vision 100 day programme and a former POV trainer.
In her business training and coaching Julia uses her broadcasting & journalistic experience to help clients with media, presentation and communication skills, as well as coaching in team building and conflict resolution. Clients have included Scotia McLeod, Rolls Royce, BT (British Telecom), HSBC Bank, Lloyds Bank, Barclays Bank, Canadian Western Bank, Holiday Inn & the Department of Health. She has also worked with charities, pressure groups & the entertainment industry.
Julia is a keen walker, beachcomber and RSPB member (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds). Her favourite places to be are by lakes, rivers or the ocean, and anywhere you can hear skylarks singing! She lives in eastern England, close to the Norfolk coast (where there are lots of skylarks ... yippee!).

Gayle is a Psychology of Vision Trainer I and a student of Healing Touch, who leads seminars and a weekly Course In Miracles group in the Comox Valley. During her 30-year career as a nurse in health care, Gayle has worked extensively with children & in First Nations communities in BC.
As an adjunct to medical treatment, Gayle explores the metaphor of illness, or dis-ease. A physical or emotional pain may be a signal that we are out of step somewhere in our life. In exploring underlying life patterns we may gain a greater understanding of why things happen. This empowers us to change them.
Gayle was born & raised in Montreal, Quebec, moving to British Columbia in 1975. She has been responsible for Health Care administration; a Nursing Instructor at British Columbia Institute of Technology; owned a thriving restaurant business and built a home-based business for 8 years servicing clients with waterless-based technology products!
Gayle is an enthusiastic 'water baby' - being a keen kayaker and a dedicated lake and ocean swimmer.
