Being In The Flow

Combining kayaking, nature, healing and mysticism, these retreats are "one of a kind" we believe. We work with the metaphor of "being in the flow" to help us create greater balance and ease in our lives.
Located near Campbell River, north central Vancouver Island, BC, Discovery Islands Lodge is a backcountry kayak B&B.
The location offers access to an uncrowded Canadian West coast paradise of clear, sheltered waters, towering mountains and abundant sea and wild life: eagles, whales, porpoises, salmon, otters and sea lions to name a few.
Using the principles of Psychology of Vision * and A Course in Miracles *, these retreats will help you to explore and integrate healing ideas that can change your life. Operating at both the personal and spiritual levels, this loving and supportive approach can transform your world.
No previous kayak experience is necessary.

We will enjoy an intimate connection to nature on the water, both in our kayaking and in our accommodation. The Lodge is situated on the waters' edge, with a dry sauna on the dock waiting to warm and soothe us.
Using meditation, sharing, experiential exercises and private reflection times we will create the potential for deep healing and lasting change.
With seals, otters, dolphins and multicoloured starfish as companions, we will play, grow and learn together in an atmosphere of friendship, loving support and playfulness. Clear evenings give us a wonderful star show, even the Northern Lights at times.

"Being in Flow" retreats begin with a welcome & orientation session around mid-afternoon on the first day. Seminar sessions, accommodations, meals, kayaks, gear and guides are included in the price.
Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from the Lodge, although we may be able to help in some circumstances.

Final date for deposit of $390 is March 1, 2010, with the remainder due at the workshop.
No refunds due to late cancellation 2 weeks prior to the May 6th start.
